"Unattainable"

Unattainable you are
For me to feel
The love that I
Seal inside

I think of you always
Forever in my heart
I only wish I
Could have a new start

I wish you could know
My feelings inside
But I have a fear
That you'll push me aside

I had you once
But I was lost
My mind is learning
For you at all costs

If you'd give me a chance
I would show you my love
I am more controlled now
Than ever before

I was unstable
My mind was a mess
I've bound it down now
and assured this no less

But I am alone
You've passed me by
A wind in the leaves
and left me to cry

I'm lonely in love
For you are not here
And do not return
My love that's so clear.
